slugweb

A studio for websites, apps and AI

We design and build what your business needs: a website people can find, an application made for you, or an AI assistant that answers for you. Explained without jargon, delivered ready to use.

  • Direct contact, no account managers
  • Fixed price, quoted upfront
  • You own the code, always

An independent studio — no shortcuts, no exceptions.

Tell us what you need
Before anything else

Tell us what you need.

A few details is all we need to come back with next steps, an honest question or two, and a number.

What do you need?
When do you need it live?
A couple of sentences is plenty: what you have now, what's missing, and who it's for.
Even a rough range saves us both a round of emails.
No commitment. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so in the first reply. And if you run a business and want to see what your website would look like before deciding, ask us for a free sample.

slugweb uses your details (name, email and whatever you tell us) only to reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to prepare a quote: steps you request before any contract, which is the legal basis. They reach us through Formspree, a US form service that handles them on our behalf under the EU's standard contractual clauses. We keep them while we're talking and, if we don't end up working together, delete them within 12 months. You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or move your data by writing to slugweb.eu@gmail.com, and complain to your data protection authority (in Spain, aepd.es). No tracking, and no cookies beyond the one that remembers your language. Privacy policy.

What we do

Four things you can ask us for.

Each one has its own page, in plain words: who it's for, what we do and what you get. If you're not sure which one is yours, write to us anyway and we'll tell you.

01

A website for your business

So people find you on their phone and see what you do, where you are and how to book.

02

A custom application

A tool built around how your business works, not a template that almost fits.

04

After launch

When your website or application is already running and you want someone on the other end.

In all four cases: a fixed price in writing before we start, everything in writing (no calls), and your code and your domain in your name. Want to see something before deciding? For websites, we make a free sample.

Why slugweb

Fewer projects, more attention.

One point of contact

You talk directly to whoever builds your product — no account managers in between.

Fixed, upfront pricing

One quote before we start. No surprises on the invoice.

Built to hand over

Clean code and plain-language docs, so you're never stuck if you want to bring the work in-house later.

Few projects at a time

So yours gets full attention, not a fraction of it.

slugnoun · zoology

A small, unhurried land mollusc with no shell to hide behind: it moves deliberately, and leaves a visible trail wherever it's been.

slugnoun · web development

The short, readable part of a URL that identifies one specific page: the /pricing in slugweb.eu/pricing. Exact, and easy to trace back to where it came from.

Something small, plainly readable, and easy to follow back to where it came from. That's the studio slugweb is trying to be.

How a project runs

Four stops, no surprises in between.

01 — Discover

Get clear on the brief

A short round of questions about your users, your timeline and what "done" looks like: fixed scope before any code.

02 — Design

Show the shape early

Wireframes and visual design revised together, not unveiled at the end.

03 — Build

Build it properly

Design and code, tested as it goes — accessible, fast, and built to be changed later without a rewrite.

04 — Launch

Hand it off properly

A walkthrough, documentation, and a support window so launch day isn't the last day we're reachable.

Studio work

Starting with our own.

slugweb is new — rather than a wall of invented logos, here's the first thing we built: our own identity and this site, designed and coded start to finish.

The slugweb wordmark: the word slug, a small slug glyph, and the word web.
The studio's identity, as it actually ships
Brand identity

A name that means two things at once

The mark, the trail-green palette, the type pairing and a manual covering voice and usage — built so the studio looks the same in a proposal, an invoice or a browser tab.

Website

This site, and how it's put together

Hand-written HTML and CSS, no framework, in ten languages and keyboard-navigable: it even works with JavaScript switched off. The same standard every client project gets.

Open for the first ones

Your project could be the first case study here.

A studio just starting out gives your project more attention, and more reason to make it worth showing.

Questions

Before you ask.

Do you take on small projects, or only full builds?

Both — some start with a single page or one specific feature, others with a whole application to build. We size the engagement to the project, not the other way around.

How is pricing worked out?

You send us what you need and we send back a fixed price based on scope, not an hourly rate that can run over — all in writing, before any work starts.

What kind of companies do you work with?

All kinds — a founder validating a first idea, an established company replacing something that no longer works, a team that needs an internal tool built properly. What matters is the problem, not the size of the company.

What's your tech stack?

We pick the stack that fits the project rather than forcing every client into the same one: typically modern web frameworks for sites and apps, with clean, documented code either way.

Do you offer support after launch?

Yes — come back for one-off work whenever you like, or cover it with the monthly plan. Either way, you get clean documentation, so you're never stuck depending on us.

How long does a typical project take?

It depends on scope, but most projects take a matter of weeks rather than months. We agree the delivery date in writing before starting, and you get an update if anything is going to move it.

slugweb is a studio you can reach in one line: write to slugweb.eu@gmail.com, or find @slug.web on Instagram, and tell us what you're building.
