Who handles your data

The data controller is Slug Web LLC, a New Mexico (US) company trading as slugweb. Address: 1209 Mountain Road Pl NE, Ste N, Albuquerque, NM 87110, USA. Contact: [email protected]. Its full details are in the legal notice.

What we collect and why

• Contact form: your name, email, what you need, when you need it, your message and, if you give one, a rough budget. We use them only to reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to prepare a quote.
• Emails you send us directly: the same purposes.
• Technical data from your visit: your IP address and request details, which our hosting provider receives to serve the site and protect it from abuse. We don't use them to analyse your behaviour or for advertising.

We don't build profiles, make automated decisions, or sell or share your data.

Legal basis

• Contact form and emails: steps you request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Technical data: our legitimate interest in running a working, secure site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Who else receives it

Only providers that process it on our behalf, all based in the US:

• Formspree, Inc.: receives form messages and forwards them to us by email, under the EU's standard contractual clauses.
• Cloudflare, Inc.: hosts and protects the site; certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
• Google: the email provider where we receive and answer messages; certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

How long we keep it

For as long as we're in conversation. If we don't end up working together, we delete it within 12 months. If we sign a contract, we keep it for the length of the relationship and afterwards for as long as legal obligations, such as tax rules, require.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to or port your data by writing to [email protected]. If you think we haven't handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or to the data protection authority in your country.

Cookies and browser storage

This site uses no analytics or advertising tools and no tracking cookies. The only cookie it sets is a technical one, slugweb-lang, and only when you pick a language in the language menu: it remembers that choice for a year so the site opens in your language next time. It holds nothing but the language code, it doesn't identify you, and no consent banner is required for a cookie like this. You can delete it in your browser settings.

Security

The site is always served over HTTPS, and form messages travel encrypted to Formspree and to our inbox.
